Unison and Public Sector Pay- An Important Message to all Our Members
Sara Gorton, Health Chief Unison has been coordinating a response from 13 other Health Unions and have written directly to the chancellor demanding a 3.9% pay rise for our members and an extra £800 for earning power during austerity.
Sara, in ramping up the pressure on Theresa May says,
'health workers have gone without a proper pay rise for far too long.
Their wages continue to fall behind inflation as food and fuel bills, housing and transport costs rise.
NHS staff and their families need a pay award that stop the rot and start to restore some of the earnings that have been missing out on'
